| All I knew about the writers' strike was that the Heroes season would be cut short and Lost might not air at all this year. Turns out the writers had a pretty good reason. Here's a video they posted on Youtube explaining their position. If you're reading this on Facebook, check the Youtube box in the left panel.
2 things to remember:
1. I've heard authors really only get paid for hardcover copies (not every book like the video says, but I haven't really checked into it)
2. If you're watching DVDs in China nobody's getting paid anything (but at least everyone's getting paid the same) |

Went to the White Stripes site today (http://whitestripes.com/). They have a bunch of their videos posted. Turns out a lot of them were directed by Michel Gondry of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind fame.
His newest movies is called "Be Kind, Rewind" with Jack Black.
I'm getting laid off next week because my only student is going on vacation. Maybe I'll go get my Toys R Us job back then go to China. I think I'll go drop off my resume. |
